Mealeaf

Terms of use

Last updated: October 14, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Blyno LLC, a New Mexico (USA) limited liability company ("we", "us"), for your use of the Mealeaf mobile app and related services ("Mealeaf"). By downloading or using Mealeaf, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use Mealeaf.

On the Apple App Store, Mealeaf is published under DBXLAB LTD, which is part of Blyno LLC. These terms apply the same way there, and "we" and "us" include DBXLAB LTD.

1. Who can use Mealeaf

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Mealeaf. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Mealeaf only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

Some features need an account. Give accurate information, keep your password secret, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.

3. Food, nutrition and health

4. Chef

Chef is an automated assistant that uses artificial intelligence. Its answers can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for you. Check important information — especially about allergens, food safety and nutrition — before relying on it. Chef can make changes you ask for, such as adding items to your grocery list; review them. Do not use Chef to create harmful, illegal or abusive content. Daily message limits apply and may differ between free and Pro.

5. Mealeaf Pro subscriptions

6. Ads and step unlocks

The free version shows ads. Some recipes show their first step and unlock the rest after you watch a short rewarded video; the unlock stays on your device. We do not control the content of third-party ads.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you add to Mealeaf — such as notes, ratings, lists and messages. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only to provide Mealeaf to you. Do not add content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is abusive.

8. Acceptable use

Do not: misuse or interfere with Mealeaf or its servers; try to access other users' data; scrape, copy or resell recipes or other content in bulk; reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it; get around limits, ads or Pro features by technical means; or use Mealeaf to break any law.

9. Our content

Mealeaf, its design, software, recipes, photos and text are owned by Blyno LLC or our licensors and are protected by law. Third-party photos are used under their licences and credited in the app where required. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

10. Changes and availability

We may update, add or remove features, and we may suspend Mealeaf for maintenance. Mealeaf needs an internet connection for most features.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using Mealeaf and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or where the law requires it. Sections 3, 4 and 9 to 15 survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

Mealeaf is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that Mealeaf will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that recipes, nutrition values or Chef's answers are accurate or suitable for you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Blyno LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Mealeaf. Our total liability for any claim relating to Mealeaf is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Mealeaf in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

14. Indemnity

If you break these terms or the law while using Mealeaf, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses this causes us, to the extent the law allows.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, unless the consumer laws of your country give you the right to bring proceedings where you live.

16. Apple App Store

If you downloaded Mealeaf from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and Blyno LLC (through DBXLAB LTD, the seller on the App Store), not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Mealeaf. If Mealeaf fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price (if any); to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for claims relating to Mealeaf, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or on a US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where these terms do not cover a point.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Mealeaf after changes take effect, the updated terms apply.
